Director: Wes Craven
Director of Photography: Robert Yeoman
In this scene Lisa notice that they are about to land back home in the miami airport knowing that her time is running out to save her father's life & trying to get away from her seat mate from the plane before he comes through with his assassination plot by using the power of Lisa to set it up.
In this First shot its a close up on Lisa's hand getting ready to unbuckle the seat belt quietly so can sneak away from her seat mate. At the same time she's trying to catch him off guard by opening up to her seat mate about a scar near her neck that he wanted to know about earlier on their flight as the camera goes back and forth between the two he began to let his guard down with the close up to his face showing his mean stare, but also care in his eyes by listening to her story, and doesn't know that's all part of her plan and he doesn't know what's about to come his way because he thinks he's still in control because he has her cornered on the plane in their seats.
While she's talking to him with one hand on her seat belt and the other firmly gripping a pen waiting to make her move.
Close up on the sign showing the plane is landed & its safe to unbuckle giving the Lisa the go to make her move.
As Lisa makes a run for it by slowing the man down by stabbing him in the throat with the pen, getting her a head start in the airport she try's to make a phone call with a close up showing no signal!
Here's a wide shot of Lisa running for her life as the man finally catches up with her as she barely gets away just by a second as they watch each other with back to back camera shots as she leaves the airport on the train.

Portrait of a place learnings
From my portrait of a place assignment, I learned a lot from the shooting assignment. As Professor Raminist explained to us is it takes more than pan shots on every scene to tell a story, every shot needs to have a meaning. I wanted to share the peacefulness of the riverwalk. A place where you can go relax your mind and take a break from everything and just have a moment to yourself to gather your thoughts while nature relaxed you as you walk or sat in peace, but as I learned I didn’t do so as well by not letting the visual tell a story. Instead it look like I just went to the park and took a couple shots and called it a day. Being able to watch other visuals from my classmates and as Professor Raminist talked us through them step by step I saw how to better convey a portrait of both a place and a person. I learned from everyone, various ways and the art to tell a visual story with or without sound and the importance the relationship is between the Director and the Director of Photography.

Visual Storytelling: Stories of place
In the preliminary stages of shooting-and filming a project, it is of paramount importance to be knowledgeable about every aspect of the equipment and how it works. I have not yet had the opportunity of using either cameras but based on personal preference I would prefer the Sony brand because of my familiarity of the quality of Sony and high comfort of the products that they represent to me. Sony is a brand that is recognized more and respected in the film industry. In comparing and contrasting the two types of cameras my physical observation and initial impression with the jvc camera is that it records 2 SD cards which are more convenient and efficient in terms of filming and in the editing process. The Sony has more features such as 2 ND filters and the ability to use external filters, which is extremely impressive in such a device of its type Also the Sony has a more professional appeal it is more industry standard. The only unique feature with the jvc is that it had sd card makes it extremely easy to transfer footage to a hard drive effortlessly saving valuable time, however in my experiences with devices that have the sd format the sd card is very touch sensitive and very easily of getting damaged because of the size and durability of this component and most importantly the memory space in which the sd card holds.

My Filmmaking Goals
My objective is to learn the fundamentals of videography and use the necessary tools I’ve acquired to build a strong foundation and vision interpreting in capturing people’s interest and imagination. I plan on expressing myself artistically by learning the art on making people feel the captivating suspense in what I’m filming or the shots that I’m capturing by having a meaningful feeling as you would experience in a music video focusing the audience concentration on a scene or character bringing to life polarizing characters from famous directors such as Hype Williams, if you where in the music video experiencing the night life & flashing lights or a award winning movie by James Cameron, how the director would grab all of your attention giving you chills as if you where in a movie feeling the emotions the director is targeting at the audience. I’m very passionate about learning and developing techniques in videography and I want to be able to translate on film my personal convictions & ideas that I hold so precious I want to express them on film so I can inspire a broad and diverse audience.
I want to motivate, encourage, inspire, & engage people on whatever platform that I represent on film. I want to take people on an emotional adventure I want to provoke emotions & take them on a journey on that place and time in just that imagery. I want my work to be viewed as stock provoking, ground breaking, and for people to view my work & experience my innermost thoughts would resonate with them for time to stop & stand still I want to leave them wanting more.

Visual Inspirations
I like this picture because it allows you to dream can represent an idea. Dreams give you power and imagination and builds character. I can achieve anything when i dream or go anywhere. There are no boundaries when you dream big, it renews a dispensation of hope and encouragement.
This clip to me represent that hard work and dedication can secure your legacy in time.
This picture inspires me to not let any obstacles, challenges, or barriers get in your way, but persevere until a brighter day.
I am a champion the inspiration behind this visual is to in order to change the game you must work hard, play fair , have fun, & to enjoy life and change the game forever & leave them wanting more.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery often imitated but never duplicated. Hence now & forever more shall he remain the king.
Marching to the beat of your on drum making your own decisions being the leader not the follower
He may not have been president, he may not have been royal, but to me he was a king! but he had no royal title or crown. His loyal subjects where his beloved congregation. He inspired millions all around the world.
This picture embodies the american dream where you can have it all, lose it all, and win it back again.
He was artist, an author, and a poet. He may not have had the refinement and sophistication of Robert Frost & Maya Angelou, but his words & lyrics where powerful and precise.
This represents to me that you can do anything you put your mind to it, and through the stages & challenges through your life you can accomplish anything, you can overcome any adversity without losing your self respect.
